Trust & Privacy

Built around
the child's protection.

Privacy is not a feature. It is the architecture. Every decision in Gardspace — how data is stored, who can access it, where photos go — was made with the child's protection as the primary constraint.

Core principles

Three principles.
Non-negotiable.

📷

In-app capture only

Photos and videos are captured directly within Gardspace. They never pass through the nanny's personal gallery, her iCloud, Google Photos, or any personal storage. Once captured, they belong to the Care Space — not to the device.

🔒

Child data stays in the Care Space

All content related to the child — photos, logs, reports, memories — belongs to the family and stays within their Care Space. The nanny accesses only what is necessary for the active session. She cannot extract it.

⚖️

Separation by design

Professional and private life are entirely separated — by architecture, not by policy. The nanny's Gardspace activity is professional. Her personal life — her phone, her messages, her photos — remains entirely private.

Architecture

The Care Space
belongs to the family.

The Care Space is created by the family. It is owned by the family. When a nanny joins, she is granted access — not ownership. When she leaves, the history stays with the family.

A new nanny can join the same Care Space. The child's record continues — uninterrupted. The previous nanny's access is revoked. Her NTR reflects the sessions she documented. Nothing else.

Who sees what
Parent
  • Full Care Space access
  • All sessions and reports
  • All memories
  • Child history — permanent
Nanny
  • Active session only
  • No access outside sessions*
  • Cannot extract child data
  • Cannot delete memories
* The Handover Note is the only access outside an active session — a continuity note for the adjacent period.
GDPR & Legal

Your rights.
By design.

🇪🇺

GDPR-minded from day one

Gardspace is designed with GDPR principles at its core — data minimisation, purpose limitation, and user control. Not as compliance, but as architecture.

👤

Right to access

Families can access all data stored in their Care Space at any time. Nannies can access their NTR, G-TRID, and session records.

🗑️

Right to deletion

Families can request deletion of their Care Space and all associated data. Nannies can request deletion of their profile and NTR. Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

🧒

Children's privacy

Gardspace treats children's data with the highest level of protection. No child data is ever used for advertising, analytics sharing, or third-party purposes.
